USA Field Hockey Adds First Level 1 Instructional Coaching Clinic Since Start of Pandemic in Colorado

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce that the first Level 1 Instructional Coaching Clinic since the start of the pandemic will be held on Sunday, May 23, at Colorado Academy in Lakewood, Colo. from 1:45 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. MT. This Level 1 will be led by USA Field Hockey Coach Educator and former Division I Head Coach Amy Robertson with support from Colorado Academy Head Coach Veronica Scott. Level 1 Instructional Clinics are specifically designed for individuals with a basic knowledge and understanding of the game of field hockey. Individuals who are brand new to the sport are welcome to attend but may find it difficult as the course covers a broad range of topics in a short period of time. The Level 1 is the perfect opportunity for professional development and local networking.

All registrants must first complete part one of the Level 1 Program, the Level 1 Online Coaching Course to receive a full Level 1 Certification. To get the most out of the Level 1 Instructional Coaching Clinic, USA Field Hockey requires that all registrants bring completed tasks from the Level 1 Online Coaching Course to the in-person Level 1 for self-reflection and review.
