USA Field Hockey Restructures Nexus Regional Management Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey and the Nexus Staff are excited to announce a restructuring of the Regional Management Teams. To best serve all athletes and families, the organization has moved to a Super Regional Team approach and will welcome the following individuals to Nexus starting in September 2021.

The new approach will consist of an administrative manager and a coach manager in each Super Region. Nexus athlete participation and advancement will continue to follow the same process within their respective region but will be managed by these new larger super regional management teams. This group will build on the foundation set in the first year of Nexus and continue to help develop future Olympians.

Super Region 3/4 will retain Taylor Rideout as the administrative manager and will welcome Kerry Kiddoo as the new coach manager. Super Region 5/6 will retain Sarah Elleman as the administrative manager and welcome Nicky Hitchens as the new coach manager. Super Region 7/8 will be managed by a combination of new staff and the full-time Nexus group.Ann Andrews will be the new Region 7 administrative manager, while Liz Sanders (USA Field Hockey’s Nexus Development Manager) and Kasey Neiderer (USA Field Hockey’s Junior  Nexus Manager) will help oversee coach and administrative management for Region 8. Super Region 9/10 will bring on Jill Dixon as the administrative manager and Val Lohr as the coach manager. Finally, the Super Region 11 team will consist of Lisa Griffiths as the administrative manager and Michelle Van De Braak as the coach manager.
