U.S. Men’s & Women’s Masters Programs Announce 2022 WMH Masters World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa Rosters

CAPE TOWN, South Africa – Following annual tryout and some training camps, the U.S. Men’s and Women’s Masters Programs have finalized their rosters for the 2022 World Masters Hockey (WMH) World Cup being held in Cape Town, South Africa. Taking place October 1 to 10, USA is sending eight teams, men’s O-45, O-50, O-55 and O-55 Spirit of Masters, and women’s O-50, O-55, O-60 and O-65.

The men had a successful three-day training camp in June in Philadelphia. They will have a few more sessions on both the East and West Coasts in the coming months as they prepare for the WMH Masters World Cup.

The U.S. Women’s Masters Teams have been meeting on a monthly basis, starting with the Beach Bash tournament in Milford, Del. on April 30 and May 1. Next, the teams played in the Shooting Stars Masters tournament in Northampton, Mass. on June 11 and 12. On June 25 and 26, the teams reconvened for a training weekend at Ursinus College, and trained again during the weekend of July 23 and 24 at the same location.
