Dates for Regional Club Championships, Nexus Championship & National Club Championship Events Announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey’s Events and Club Services Department and Nexus Team have officially announced the dates for the 2022 Regional Club Championships (RCC), presented by YOLO Sportswear; Nexus Championship (NXC), presented by Osaka Hockey; and National Club Championship (NCC), presented by YOLO Sportswear.
First up, the Events and Club Services Department looks forward to working with the following host sites for the 2022 RCC, which are tentatively scheduled from Saturday, April 30 to Sunday, June 19. A detailed list of dates by region and age division are as follows:

The top 16 clubs from across the country from the RCC will then compete for the title of 2022 National Club Champions across the U-14, U-16 and U-19 Girls age divisions. This year’s RCC registration will include an early invitation window for those teams that placed 1st through 4th from the 2022 RCC events. Registration will open to all on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. ET and will continue until divisions are full. Some regions may be limited on registration, on a history basis, and a waitlist will be offered and when available more teams will be added.
The Nexus Championship (NXC), presented by Osaka Hockey, will take place from Thursday, June 23 to Thursday, June 30. Specific age division are detailed below:
U-16 Girls June 23-25, 2022
U-14 Girls June 26-28, 2022
U-19 Girls June 28-30, 2022
The National Club Championship (NCC), presented by YOLO Sportswear, will take place from Wednesday, July 6 to Thursday, July 14. Specific age division are detailed below:
U-14 Girls July 6-8, 2022
U-16 Girls July 9-11, 2022
U-19 Girls July 12-14, 2022
Both the Nexus Championship and National Club Championship will be held at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va.
If you are interested in hosting a RCC in 2023, click here to fill out an interest form. USA Field Hockey is always looking for new hosts and wants to give each region various locations on where the sites are held. There are specific standards for the RCC event, but if host or venue believes they fit the criteria they are invited to fill out the interest form.
