USA Field Hockey's 100-Year Birthday Bash Celebrated on Day 2 of National Hockey Festival

TAMPA, Fla. - It was another successful day for athletes, coaches and fans on the second day of the 2022 National Hockey Festival at the Tournament Sportsplex of Tampa Bay. Teams from all over and all age divisions – including several co-ed teams – competed hard to earn their spots in the crossovers tomorrow. 

Around mid-day, everyone was invited to celebrate USA Field Hockey’s 100-Year Birthday Bash which included a photo booth, karaoke and some sweet treats. The enthusiasm and talent for singing rivaled that of the skill seen on the pitch. 

As the day was winding down, several coaches hosted an informational session and clinic for the Nexus program. The day capped off with a beautiful sunset that splashed the sky as the final game of the evening finished out.

Tomorrow is the final day together – and when it will be determined which teams have what it takes to bring home a medal!
