by USA Field Hockey

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce that Team IP has signed on as the presenting sponsor and event apparel merchandiser for the 2023 Sunshine Showcase at ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World® Resort taking place January 27 through 29 in Kissimmee, Fla.

Sunshine Showcase is expecting to host 240 field hockey teams in various age divisions including U-10 Co-Ed (7v7), U-12 Co-Ed (7v7), U-14 Co-Ed (7v7), U-14 Girls (7v7), U-14 Girls (11v11), U-16 Girls (11v11) and U-19 Girls (11v11). The year 2023 marks the largest Sunshine Showcase event to date, demonstrating the growth and popularity of field hockey in the United States.

In addition to fantastic field hockey for the athletes, coaches, umpires, parents and fans to enjoy at the Sunshine Showcase, there is also the magic of Disney, through its award-winning ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, a 220-acre facility that combines the fun and activity of sports with the entertainment of the Magic Kingdom and other world-renowned Disney attractions, where imaginations take flight in a world of enchantment.

Team IP’s support for the athletes and fans will include the introduction of Action Face sports action figures. Action Face allows customers to create their own personal sports action figure in two sizes: about 3 inches tall or about 5 inches tall. Action Face sports action figures are the souvenir of a lifetime for athletes, coaches, and fans so they’ll always remember the fun of the Sunshine Showcase experience at Disney World’s home.

“We are thrilled to bring not only high-quality Sunshine Showcase merchandise, but also Action Face’s customized sports action figures to USA Field Hockey in January,” said Randy Sparks, Team IP CEO and Founder. “We are thrilled with the growth of field hockey in the United States and with the excitement of athletes, parents and fans to share their love of the sport by buying and sharing commemorative apparel from Team IP.”

As the presenting sponsor and official event apparel merchandiser, Team IP will be catering to the needs and wants of the athletes, their families and fans, as well as college coaches and others in attendance, to take advantage of great weather, a fabulous venue, competitive field hockey and hopefully go home with high quality souvenir hoodies, jackets, hats, and other athletic wear.

“Team IP is a world-class company with the know-how to take care of their customers and deliver the perfect mix of useful and fun, as well as stylish and desirable apparel and keepsakes,” said Ginger Wheeler, USA Field Hockey’s Commercial Partnerships and Marketing Manager. “We are excited to deliver great merchandise and a super fun experience including Action Face’s customized sports action figures. Having comfortable, stylish apparel and a sports action figure that is ‘you’ is sure to motivate, inspire and delight all who attend.”
