Supporting the development of female leaders to succeed and flourish whether that is in business, sport or life in general is a core passion area for Sarah Kelleher. As a coach developer and mentor, she supports female coaches in their journey to be their best self. With this, Kelleher recognizes the importance of role models in positively influencing opportunities for female leaders to succeed.

Kelleher is in her second year as co-coach of Hampstead and Westminster’s Premier League first-team alongside Olympian Kate Richardson-Walsh. Kelleher is an advocate for having a more flexible approach to how coaching roles are structured, recognizing it is a key area that can make a difference to growing opportunities as a female coach. Kelleher is also currently working with Sport England as a strategic consultant and facilitator in helping to shape their female coaching strategy in tackling under representation of females in coaching. In the workshop, she will explore women in coaching research and insights while also exploring the lived experiences of what it feels like to be a woman in coaching.
The workshop will also be a practical session in understanding personal strengths, how coaches can grow resilience and use strategies to overcome barriers to ultimately develop the confidence to truly excel as coaches.
