Ali Johnstone | USA Field Hockey Trained Coach Educator
Johnstone is a trained USA Field Hockey Coach Educator who has been heavily involved with USA Field Hockey over the years as a Futures Program coach, a Regional and National Futures tournament selector and a Junior High Performance Program volunteer coach. In 2017, she was invited and participated in the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Level 2 course in Manheim, Pa. and continues to be a positive ambassador of the sport.
Johnstone became the 11th head coach of the Ohio University field hockey program in 2017, her alma mater. As an athlete, she still holds the career record for assists and ranks third in all-time points and fourth in career goals. She is one of the most decorated players in program history, whose accolades include the 2001 Female Student-Athlete of the Year and is a member of the university’s hall of fame.
