Summer Bash at the Beach

USA Field Hockey is excited to announce the dates for the eighth annual Summer Bash at the Beach (SBB), presented by YOLO Sportswear. This summer tournament managed by Hometown Sports will take place on Friday, July 21 though Sunday, July 23 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. This event will feature 7v7 play on both water-based and dry field turf surfaces and is open to the U-10 Co-Ed, U-12 Co-Ed, U-14 Co-Ed, and U-14 Girls divisions. Pools will be seeded in accordance with the team self-rating system.

Registration for the Summer Bash at the Beach will open on Wednesday, April 5 at 12:00 p.m. ET. The cost is $850.00 per team for the three-day event.

If registration reaches capacity, a waitlist will be opened, and clubs should contact Dasha Gorokhova, USA Field Hockey’s Events and Club Services Coordinator, at dgorokhova@usafieldhockey.com to reserve a spot. USA Field Hockey will first consider accepting clubs on the waitlist that do not yet have a team registered to increase club diversity at the event.

The maximum roster size is 12 athletes. Co-Ed teams will not be able to play more than three (3) male players (goalkeepers excluded) at any given time during a game. 

Friday, July 21: 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET

Saturday, July 22: 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET

Sunday, July 23: 7:00 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. ET
