U-21 Women’s Athletes Selected To Advance To Second Junior National Camp
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following a three-day training camp held in Charlotte, N.C., the women’s Junior High Performance Staff have evaluated and finalized the list of U-21 women’s athletes invited to attend the second Junior National Camp (JNC).
"What we achieved last year proved what is possible when belief, work ethic, and unity align," said U-21 USWNT Head Coach Ange Bradley. "What we pursue next will define who we become. This selected group begins the 2026 journey with a shared responsibility. To be brave, united, and relentless as we pursue qualification in April and continue to elevate USA Field Hockey on the world stage."
Taking place January 30 to February 1, 2026, on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C., these athletes will compete for selection to the U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team. Once the U-21 USWNT roster has been named, athletes will compete in subsequent training camps for a spot on a travel squad for one of the several events the team will be participating in this summer.
In 2026, U-21 USWNT athletes will be eligible to compete in the Junior Pan American Championships (JPAC) in Santiago, Chile in April, as well as a new Four Nations Tournament in England in July. The JPAC is a qualifying event for the 2027 FIH Hockey Junior World Cup. With the addition of the Four Nations Tournament, the JNC in Charlotte, N.C. previously scheduled for June 26 to 28 will be moved up to June 5 to 7.
