Northeast-10 (NE10) - and all the Division II conferences - will open up with quarterfinal play on Tuesday, November 15. Fourteen teams fought throughout the season to be one of the eight advancing to the postseason conference tournament.
Southern New Hampshire grabbed two crucial back-to-back conference wins against St. Thomas Aquinas and American International to secure the eighth seed and final spot. The pair of wins brought the Penmen to the same record as Mercy, whom they had beat earlier this season, 3-2. Attaining this spot was vindicating, as SNH had lost three conference contests in double overtime this season. The Penmen will go up against No. 1 seed Saint Anselm on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET.
After both finished with 11-2 records, Saint Anslem shared the title of NE10 Regular Season Title with Assumption, but claimed the No. 1 seed due to a 2-1 shootout victory over the Greyhounds earlier this month. The Hawks are heading into the tournament with eight straight wins. Against Southern New Hampshire this season, Saint Anslem had a 3-1 victory with the game-winner coming from leading scorer Maggie Malloy. The Hawks are currently ranked No. 9 in the NFHCA Division II Coaches Poll.
Clinching the No. 4 seed, Adelphi will take on No. 5 Saint Thomas Aquinas on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET. These two teams both share in giving No. 1 seed Saint Anselm their only two defeats in conference play. The Panthers went 9-4 in the conference and had opened their season with a ranked victory over No. 10 New Haven. The Spartans finished 8-5 in NE10 play and fell to Adelphi, 3-1, in their regular season matchup.
On Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. ET, No. 2 seed Assumption will clash with No. 7 Pace. When the duo met earlier this season, it was an extremely close contest in which Pace controlled play for a majority of the game. However, it was the Greyhounds who came out on top with a 1-0 victory courtesy of a goal from Hannah Tepper in overtime. Assumption enters the postseason ranked sixth nationally.
For the final quarterfinal matchup, No. 3 Bentley and No. 6 New Haven will meet at 7:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday. This will be a rematch of an extremely even contest that took place in NE10 play. Scoreless through 80 minutes of play, the Falcon pulled out their 1-0 victory in the sixth round of shootouts. This was the Chargers third conference game that ended in shootouts – they previously defeated Adelphi 3-2 in this fashion.
The four quarterfinal winners will play again on Friday, November 18 in the semifinals. The lucky two finalists will play for the NE10 Championship crown on Sunday, November 20. All matches will be hosted by the higher seed and be streamed on NE10NOW.tv. Assumption will be defending their title after defeating Adelphi in the championship last season. Bentley holds the most NE10 Titles at 10, but has not hoisted the trophy since 2009.

Division II’s premier conference, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), will begin their postseason on Tuesday, November 15. Out of the six teams who qualified to compete, five of them also sit in the top five spots in the NFHCA Division II Coaches Poll.
It was No. 1 nationally ranked Kutztown who finished as the top seed for the first time in 15 years. The Golden Bears defeated reigning PSAC and NCAA Champion Shippensburg 4-1 earlier this season, and their only conference loss was in overtime to then-No.1 nationally ranked West Chester. Kutztown is led offensively by Rachel Dusman, while Sarah Gatehouse shines on the back line next to goalkeeper Katie Dotterweich, who ranks third nationally in goals against average (0.83). The Bears will have a bye in the first-round of play.
Fittingly, the No. 2 seed is second in Division II - Shippensburg. The Raiders will look to defend their PSAC Title after a perfect 20-0 season in 2021. This year, Shippensburg enter the postseason with a 15-2 record – their two losses of the season to conference opponents Kutztown and Millersville. The Raiders will also receive a bye straight to the semifinal match.
Kicking off the PSAC Tournament, No. 4 East Stroudsburg will host No. 5 West Chester at 2:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday. The Warriors opened their season with seven straight victories, which was spoiled by a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Shippensburg. Their only other loss on the season was another close 1-0 loss, this time to Kutztown. The Warriors defeated West Chester earlier this season, 3-2, with Amy Supey posting six saves. Supey currently leads Division II in goals against average (0.38) and save percentage (0.878)
Later that evening at 6:00 p.m. ET, No. 6 Bloomsburg will travel to No. 3 Millersville. Ranked fifth in Division II, the Marauders finished their season 7-2 in conference play – clinching the three seed with a 1-0 victory over Mansfield. Scoring a goal per game for Millersville this year is senior Kate Strickland. Bloomsburg enters the PSAC postseason as the only unranked team, but picked up key conference victories including a 2-1 win over Mansfield. When these two teams met in season, the Marauders overtook the Huskies 4-2.
The semifinal and final matches, taking place on November 18 and 20, will be hosted by No. 1 seed Kutztown.

The South Atlantic Conference (SAC) begins tournament play on Tuesday, November 15, as well. The top six teams - three from each division within the conference - enter the postseason for a chance to claim the title of champion.
With the SAC split into two divisions, Converse won the Mountain Division earning them a top-seed, while Mount Olive clinched the Piedmont Division title for the first-time in program history. Their stellar conference performances earned each a top seed and bye into the quarterfinal round.
Mount Olive went a perfect 13-0 in conference play, and enter with a No. 7 national ranking. After suffering three defeats to start their season, the Spartans are currently on a 13-game win streak. Freshman Nikki Bos leads Mount Olive offensively in goals (13) and assists (7). Converse went 11-1 in conference play, and matched up well against No. 2 nationally ranked Shippensburg. The Valkyries outshot the Raiders, 14-7, but ended up falling 3-2. Lotte Kanters tallied a penalty stroke goal in the 56th minute of play to bring Converse just one goal away, but they could not find one more to tie it. Kanters is an offensive machine, and currently leads Division II in goals per game (1.50) and points per game (3.38).
The first contest on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. ET will be between No. 2 Belmont Abbey (Piedmont Division) and No. 3 Lander (Mountain Division). When the pair clashed in October, Belmont Abbey pulled out a thrilling 3-2 victory in shootouts. Sophomore goalkeeper Chloe Parker made 11 stops to keep the Crusaders in it.
Following up at 6:00 p.m. ET, No. 2 Newberry (Mountain Division) will host No. 3 Coker (Piedmont Division) in Spartansville, S.C.. The two met recently for Coker’s Senior Day, which ended in a 4-3 victory for the Cobras. Duo Kelsey Sithole and Kaiya Sabur netted two goals apiece for Coker, while Tamsin Bangert’s hat trick put the Wolves within one.
Semifinals are slated for Friday, November 18. No. 1 Mount Olive will play the winner of the earlier game at 2:00 p.m. ET while No. 1 Converse will play the winner of the later game at 5:00 p.m. ET. The much-anticipated championship match will take place on Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. ET. Converse will play host on both days.
