Region 4 Administrative Manager: Jess Bergen

A native of Wells, Vt.., Jess Bergen has more than 13 years of Division III collegiate coaching experience and has served in a variety of roles within USA Field Hockey since 2012. As a Futures participant in the early 2000s, Jess continued her academic and athletic career at Skidmore College where she was a four-year starter for the Thoroughbreds. In 2008, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. She began her collegiate coaching career the following fall at Springfield College, where she completed her Master of Science in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
Jess joined USA Field Hockey in 2014 as a Futures Coach in the Northeast Region. Her service with USA Field Hockey increased as she eventually directed sites in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Most recently, she has worked closely with USA Field Hockey as a coach educator, before taking on the role of Nexus Regional Administrative Manager.

Kerry Kiddoo has been part of USA Field Hockey in a coaching role since 2016. Formerly a Futures Level 1 Site Coach in Regions 7 and 8, she has also held various head and assistant National Futures Championship coaching positions in those respective regions, as well as a multi-year AAU Junior Olympic Games head coach. Kerry has been coaching collegiately at the Division I level for 8 years, having held positions at Appalachian State, Delaware and Hofstra, and is currently an assistant coach at Yale.
Kerry holds USA Field Hockey Level II and an FIH Level III Coaching Certifications, respectively.
Region 4 is unique as is consists of only the state of New York. It's one of just three USA Field Hockey single-state Regions, along with neighboring New Jersey and Pennsylvania. New York has a rich history and tradition of field hockey and is home to many outstanding high school and college programs, as well as clubs that provide year-round indoor and outdoor playing opportunities for boys and girls. This region also has adult and masters, who compete internationally in the 35+ age groups. From Buffalo to Long Island and everywhere in between, the north and south of field hockey is growing!
