May 17, 2023 - May 18, 2023 | Coaching Course | Charlotte, NC, USA

The High Performance Summit (HPS) is a two-day long summit, focusing on the topics of coach and umpire education, led by a group of expert personnel that includes U.S. National Team high performance staff. It will take place Wednesday, May 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, May 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET at Queens University of Charlotte’s Bessant Field in Charlotte, N.C. As the USWNT prepares for upcoming international competitions, including the 2023 Pan American Games in October, coaches are invited to participate in the summit and gain exclusive insight into the team's training regimen and preparation strategies.

The HPS includes several on-field and classroom presentations led by elite coaches and coach educators, including USWNT Head Coach David Passmore, High Performance Director Craig Parnham, USMNT Head Coach Harry Singh, USWNT Assistant Coach Tracey Fuchs, Guest Coach Javier Telechea, and Performance Analyst Chris Fry. Attendees can look forward to learning valuable skills from these industry experts, such as how to teach the drag flick from Olympian Pietie Coetzee-Turner, elite goalkeeper training from David Williamson and Olympian Jackie Briggs, and international rule interpretation from USA Field Hockey’s Director of Umpiring Sean Rapaport.

Don't miss this unparalleled opportunity to learn from USA Field Hockey’s National Team Staff and players. Note that spots to attend the HPS are limited. Registration is only open to current USA Field Hockey Members.
