Harris Names Men’s 2025 Junior Pan American Games Roster
ASUNCIÓN, Paraguay – Following evaluation at a training camp at the end of May, U.S. U-21 Men’s National Team Head Coach Pat Harris has named the 16-athlete roster and two traveling reserves that will compete in the men’s 2025 Junior Pan American Games (JPAG). Taking place August 9 to 23 at The Olympic Park in Asunción, Paraguay, this is the first edition of the event where the sport of field hockey will be included.
"The team is a strong mix of new and experienced players," commented Harris. "Our focus is now on how we can best prepare to compete with the top teams at the tournament."

The two traveling reserves are Karan Singh and Luke Jackson.
Harris will lead the squad, with Paul Singh as the assistant coach, Ian Wagge as the team manager, Joep Van der Coelen as the video analyst and Jarrett Welsh as the athletic trainer.
The Junior Pan American Games are a multi-sport event held every four years among youth athletes from all over the American continent. The Games have been organized by PanAm Sports. This event, inspired by the Youth Olympic Games, is exclusively for athletes under 21 years of age, with fewer infrastructure requirements and costs than the Pan American Games.
The Pan American Games started in 1951 and spawned the Junior Pan American Games, aimed at promoting young athletes. The first edition was held in 2021 in Cali, Colombia, marking an important milestone for the sport in the continent.
A squad will have a training camp August 4 to 6 in Charlotte, N.C. and will depart for Paraguay on August 6. Once on ground they will have training August 7, 8 and 9. Games will take place August 10 to 19.
