2021 Nexus Championship Schedule Changes Due to Tropical Storm Elsa

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - USA Field Hockey is closely monitoring Tropical Storm Elsa and its potential impact on the 2021 Nexus Championship (NXC), presented by Harrow Sports, starting tomorrow, July 7 at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. Safety is the number one priority, and USA Field Hockey is changing the schedule in advance of the tournament based on Elsa’s predicted approach, currently anticipated for Thursday afternoon.
Currently changes have been made to the schedule for Wednesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 8 for the U-16 Girls Division. Please note that this schedule potentially could change again as the storm’s projected path and forecast is updated.

USA Field Hockey recognizes that the U-19 Girls Nexus Championship participants are likely to be traveling to Virginia Beach on Thursday and Friday. Again, safety is the primary concern so please email nexus@usafieldhockey.com if any travel plans change or are disrupted.
