Dates for Regional Club Championships, National Club Championship & Nexus Championship Events Announced

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey’s Events and Club Services Department has officially announced the dates for the 2021 Regional Club Championships (RCC), National Club Championship (NCC) and Nexus Championship, presented by Harrow Sports.
First up, the Events and Club Services Department looks forward to working with the following host sites for the 2021 RCC, which are tentatively scheduled from Saturday, April 10 to Sunday, June 6. A detailed list of dates by region and age division are as follows:
- Regions 1-3:
- U-14 RCC: June 5-6 | Seacoast United Outdoor Complex | Epping, N.H.
- U-16 RCC: June 5-6 | Seacoast United Outdoor Complex | Epping, N.H.
- U-19 RCC: June 19-20 | Sacred Heart Greenwich | Greenwich, Conn.

The top 16 clubs from across the country from the RCC will then compete for the title of 2021 National Club Champions across the U-14, U-16 and U-19 Girls age divisions.
Both the National Club Championship and Nexus Championship will be held at the Virginia Beach Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach, Va. The NCC will take place from Thursday, June 24 to Friday, July 2. Specific age division are detailed below:
U-14 Girls June 24 - 26, 2021
U-16 Girls June 27 - 29, 2021
U-19 Girls June 30 - July 2, 2021
In 2020, the NCC was canceled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The Nexus Championship will commence the following week from Tuesday, July 6 to Wednesday, July 14. Competition dates for each age division will be released once the full schedule is completed.
Formerly Futures, Nexus is the newly developed Olympic Development Pathway Program, and is designed to help players take their game to the next level while developing the next generation of elite athletes and future Olympians. Note that Nexus is geared toward current field hockey athletes - girls and boys, ages 11 to 19 - in junior high and high school, who are self-motivated to improve and develop their game.
