USA Field Hockey Seeking At-Large & Independent Directors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Field Hockey is seeking eligible candidates for three At-Large Directors and two Independent Directors to sit on USA Field Hockey's Board of Directors for a four-year term. Do you enjoy strategic thinking, oversight, long range planning and governance? Do you have a background in law, finance, marketing, non profit, business management, diversity and inclusion, or fundraising? Are you willing to serve a four-year term in order to further the mission of the sport to Grow the Game, Serve Members and Succeed Internationally? If so, USA Field Hockey encourages you to apply for one of several open Board of Director positions that must be filled by January 1, 2023.

Those applying for the Independent Director seats must meet the definition of Independence, as defined in Section 5.6 Independence of the USA Field Hockey. An Independent Director shall be determined to have no material relationships with USA Field Hockey either directly or through an organization that has a material relationship with USA Field Hockey.

The Nominating Committee is soliciting the general membership of USA Field Hockey nominations of individuals to serve as the At-Large Directors. Those interested in the At-Large Director seats may nominate themselves.
