LANCASTER, Pa. – USA Field Hockey is excited to announce the newly rebranded All Starz Winter Invitational, that will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Spooky Nook Sports in Lancaster, Pa. in tandem with the U-16 Girls National Indoor Tournament (NIT).

The All Starz Winter Invitational is the newest iteration of the All Starz Showcase, which has taken place in conjunction with the U-16 Girls NIT for the past two years. All Starz Hockey ID is the premier program for disability inclusive field hockey in the United States, and is part of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) International Hockey ID program; a subset of ParaHockey for athletes with an intellectual disability.

USA Field Hockey is inviting teams from around the country to compete in the 2025 All Starz Winter Invitational. For the first time, USA Field Hockey is planning to add a House Team so individuals can join and play. The 2025 tournament will include two age divisions: Junior All Starz (U-10) and All Starz (11+). This event is the capstone competition for many teams in the winter months, and all skill levels are welcome.

No matter your level of play, you are invited to join the All Starz Winter Invitational. Come out and make new friends, play a great sport and have fun! Just ask Asher Markowitz, age 9, who plays for Able Athletics, and participated in last year’s All Starz Showcase.

"Last year was Asher’s first time traveling to Spooky Nook to play in the USA Field Hockey All Starz Showcase, actually, his first time playing in any organized game or team,” said Kira Markowitz, Asher’s mother. “It was here he found his happy place, scoring goals and being part of something so much bigger than he will ever know. To witness any child find their people, their team, is truly a magical moment and if you’re lucky to be part of this tremendous Able Athletics x All Starz family then you already understand."

Asher told USA Field Hockey why he loves field hockey, "I love scoring goals, defeating teams, and winning with my friends. I would like to score 99 goals, but I like two goals too. Spooky Nook is for playing field hockey with my friends because I like the cheering, being happy and high fives. And the name shirt."

Consistently a favorite part of the wider NIT event for spectators, athletes, coaches and umpires, the single day event draws crowds to watch these dedicated athletes compete.
